Product Description

The T'au Empire Hammerhead Gunship is the primary main battle tank of the T'au Fire Caste - a sleek anti-gravity vehicle whose skimming profile makes it harder to hit while it delivers accurate long-range fire from either an ion cannon or a railgun. This plastic kit assembles one Hammerhead with the choice of railgun (single powerful AP shot per turn) or ion cannon (multiple shots with the option to overheat for increased damage), plus two turret-mounted burst cannons or smart missile systems and multiple hull detail options. The Ion Hammerhead build is also interchangeable with the Sky Ray missile system.

On the tabletop the Hammerhead is the T'au army's primary armour-killing vehicle, with the railgun able to severely damage or destroy most vehicles with a single well-placed shot - invaluable in an army that otherwise relies on volume of pulse fire.

Supplied on an appropriate Citadel oval base. Requires assembly and painting.
