Citadel Layer Loren Forest is a muted, natural forest green named for Athel Loren - the ancient, sentient forest that is home to the Wood Elves in the Old World. It sits in a realistic, slightly desaturated middle of the green spectrum, distinct from the vivid Moot Green and the darker Kabalite Green, making it particularly suited to models that should read as naturalistic and organic rather than stylised and bright.

Apply over Caliban Green or Death Guard Green on Sylvaneth Treelord models, Wood Elf wardancers and archers, forest spirit miniatures across any range, and creatures that should appear naturally green rather than fantastically so. Works for camouflage patterns on vehicles and infantry in woodland schemes, and for the foliage and ground cover on terrain and scenic bases. The muted quality also suits dark-toned Nurgle armour in muted green schemes as an alternative to the standard Death Guard palette.
