Citadel Layer Runefang Steel is the brightest, most reflective silver in the Citadel Layer range - named for the magical Runefangs, the twelve enchanted blades of the Empire of Man. It functions as the extreme highlight silver applied at the very tip of sword blades, the sharpest points of armour edges, and any metallic surface where maximum brilliance and reflectivity is needed to make the metal come alive at the final stage.

Apply sparingly with a dry brush or fine brush to the very tips of blades, the corners of armour panels, and the sharpest edges of any silver metallic surface after Ironbreaker mid-tones. Works for Space Marine bolter and chainsword highlights, for the blade edges of Age of Sigmar weaponry, and for any model where the metal should look genuinely sharp and highly polished. Used on the edges of Stormcast weapons and armour for the clean, brilliant finish associated with Sigmarite craft.
