Citadel Layer Skrag Brown is a warm, saturated orange-brown named for Skrag the Slaughterer, the mad Ogre Butcher who leads the army of the Slaughtermaster. The colour has an earthy, ruddy warmth that suits Ogre skin particularly well - the ruddy, sun-burnt quality of a massive creature who lives outdoors and eats constantly - and works more broadly for warm brown fur, leather and earth tones that need an orange-brown mid-tone rather than a cool grey-brown.

Apply over Rhinox Hide on Ogryn and Ogre Tyrant skin, building the warm mid-tone across chest, face and limbs before highlighting with Bestigor Flesh. Works for Orruk skin in warmer schemes, for Bestman fur with an orange-brown quality, and for aged leather armour and equipment across many armies where the leather should look sun-cured and warm rather than cold.
