Product Description

The Citadel STC Shade Brush is available in Medium and Large sizes and is part of the Standard Template Construct synthetic brush range - Citadel's own-brand professional synthetic brushes designed specifically for use with Citadel paints. The STC range uses 100% synthetic fibres engineered to hold their shape and tip profile through regular use, resisting the curling and spreading that lower-quality synthetic bristles are prone to during washing and shade paint application.

The Shade brush is designed for applying Citadel Shade paints - the flow-controlled washes that pool in recesses and shadow areas to add depth to a model from a single application pass. The Large STC Shade brush carries a high volume of wash paint, allowing even coverage of Greater Daemon-scale and vehicle-scale models in a single pass without reloading. The Medium STC Shade provides more controlled application on infantry and character models where selective shading is preferred. Both sizes are designed to release the shade paint smoothly and evenly across the model surface without streaking, working in tandem with the self-levelling properties of Citadel Shade paints. The STC brushes clean easily with water between colours.
