Citadel Technical Armageddon Dust is a fine texture paste that replicates the dusty, sandy surface of the Armageddon desert wastelands - finer-grained than Astrogranite and less cracked than Agrellan Earth, it sits in the range associated with dust-covered urban ground and arid semi-desert environments where the earth hasn't fully dried to a cracked surface.
Apply with a palette knife or stiff brush to model bases before painting. Drybrush with Steel Legion Drab, Tallarn Sand and Ushabti Bone after drying for a dust-covered, battlefield-worn ground effect. Works well for mixed urban and arid environments - blending with fine gravel and sand in the same base composition creates realistic variety.
An excellent basing texture for Astra Militarum desert armies, Necrons, and any force deployed in an arid environment. The fine grain takes dry brush highlights well without looking oversized at 28mm scale.
