Citadel Technical Valhallan Blizzard is a white texture paste that creates a convincing snow effect on model bases and terrain - applied in a thick layer, it dries to a realistic snow-covered surface with natural variation and texture that brushed white paint alone can't achieve. The texture particles catch light differently across the surface, replicating the quality of real snow.
Apply with a palette knife or stiff brush to base edges, sheltered corners and depression areas on a base that has already been painted with a brown or grey ground colour. Apply thicker where snow would settle naturally and thinner on exposed high points. Allow to dry fully - the white lightens slightly as it dries. Works alongside blue-grey basing tones for a cold, winter battlefield feel across the full base.
