Product Description

The Tomb Banshee is a Nighthaunt character for Warhammer Age of Sigmar - a wailing spectral sorceress whose lament on the battlefield is capable of stopping the hearts of the living, a psychic shriek so infused with the grief of her undead existence that even hardened warriors must test their resolve against it. In lore, Tomb Banshees were once powerful mortal sorceresses who now spend their unliving eternity in anguished mourning, the magical power they wielded in life transformed by death into a psychic weapon that strikes at the spirit rather than the body. On the table she is a relatively fragile but high-threat character who can remove models from units that fail their morale checks against the Ghostly Wail.

Use in Nighthaunt armies as a cheap character who contributes meaningful threat output against low-Bravery units - effective against Grots, Skaven, and other low-morale factions where the Ghostly Wail can strip models even from units that have not been engaged in combat. The model has an immediately recognisable Banshee silhouette - a wailing spectral figure with outstretched arms and flowing robes - that suits any Nighthaunt collection as a character addition, and her size and pose make her a useful centrepiece for display boards themed around haunted graveyards or Shyishian ruins. Supplied as a multipart plastic model, unpainted and unassembled.
