Citadel Dry Kindleflame gives a vivid orange lift to fire effects, hot metal, orange markings and textured scenery. The colour is strong enough to read at gaming distance, so it is best used to pick out raised areas rather than cover the full surface.
Use it over darker orange, red or brown stages on flames, torches, lava details, banners, vehicle markings and warm-toned armour accents. On rough terrain or bases, a careful drybrush can add heat, dust or glow depending on the colours underneath.
For flame effects, keep some of the earlier red and orange visible. A smaller pale yellow or off-white touch at the hottest points can then finish the effect without turning the whole area flat orange.
