Speed Painting Necrons: The Leadbelcher Method

Necrons are the ultimate “after-work” project. You can finish a full unit of Warriors in a single evening if you follow this efficient metallic workflow. No airbrush required.

Speed Painting Necrons: The Leadbelcher Method

The Rapid Recipe

  • Step 1: Heavy drybrush of Leadbelcher over a black primer.
  • Step 2: Wash the entire model with Nuln Oil.
  • Step 3: Light drybrush of Ironbreaker to catch the edges.

The Energy Glow

The “glow” is what makes Necrons look alive. Use Tesseract Glow over a white basecoat on the weapon rods and eyes. It is a single-coat solution that looks like a complex blend. Fast, clean, and effective.
