Citadel Base paints are the foundation of any Warhammer colour scheme — high-pigment acrylics with strong coverage designed to go directly over black or grey primer and cover it in one or two coats.

The range includes the essential faction colours: Mephiston Red (Blood Angels, World Eaters), Caliban Green (Dark Angels, Salamanders), Macragge Blue (Ultramarines), Abaddon Black, Celestra Grey, Rakarth Flesh, Kantor Blue, Incubi Darkness, Mechanicus Standard Grey and Retributor Armour (gold).
